What it is

If the new moon is for planting, the full moon is for pruning. Under the brightest night of the cycle, this ritual helps you name what you're ready to release — a grudge, a habit, a story about yourself that's gone stale. You'll write it down, thank it for whatever it once did for you, and let it go with a simple closing gesture. Releasing isn't losing; it's clearing the shelf for what you're calling in.

How to practise it

  1. On or near the full moon, set aside fifteen unhurried minutes.
  2. Write down what you're ready to release — habits, grudges, stale stories.
  3. Read the list and thank each item for what it once gave you.
  4. Perform a closing gesture: tear the page, burn it safely, or tap Release.
  5. Breathe into the space you've just cleared.
  6. Name one thing you're welcoming into that space.

Make it land

  • Releasing the same stubborn thing several moons running is normal — layers exist.
  • Moonlight is atmospheric, not required; intention is the ingredient.
