Lunifest Privacy Policy

**Effective date: August 1, 2026**

Lunifest ("the app") is a personal-growth companion for manifestation practices — affirmations, journaling, vision boards and gentle reminders. It is built privacy-first. This policy explains, in plain English, exactly what happens to your information. The short version: **your data stays on your device.**

What we collect

**Nothing, on our servers — we don't have any.**

  • **No account.** Lunifest has no sign-up, no login, and no way for us to know who you are.
  • **No analytics or tracking.** The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
  • **No cloud.** Everything you create in Lunifest — journal entries, intentions, streaks, favorites, vision-board photos, voice recordings and settings — is stored in a local database and local files on your device only. We cannot see, access, or recover any of it.

What stays on your device

  • **Journal entries, goals, affirmations, streaks and settings** — stored in a local SQLite database inside the app's private storage.
  • **Vision-board images** — photos you pick are *copied* into the app's private folder. The app only opens your photo library when you tap "Add image," using the system photo picker.
  • **Voice recordings** — the microphone is used only when you record your own affirmations, and only while you record. Recordings are saved to the app's private folder and never leave your device.
  • **Reminders** — all notifications are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push-notification server.

You can export everything as a JSON file (Settings → Your data → Export my data) — the export is generated on-device and handed to the system share sheet; where you send it is entirely up to you. You can also erase everything permanently (Settings → Your data → Delete everything).

The one exception: advertising

Lunifest shows a small number of ads to keep the app free. The advertising SDK (Google AdMob on Google Play and App Store builds; AppLovin MAX on the Amazon Appstore build) is the **only** third-party network code in the app.

  • Ads are configured **non-personalized by default**.
  • In the EEA/UK, a consent dialog (Google UMP or AppLovin's equivalent) is shown as required by law, and your choice is respected.
  • The ad SDK may process technical data needed to serve and measure ads — such as your IP address, coarse location derived from it, device model, and ad-interaction events. This processing is governed by the ad network's own privacy policy:

  • - AppLovin: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
  • Ads never appear during practice, writing, or meditation screens.

We do not receive, store, or share any of this data ourselves.

Permissions the app may request

Every permission is optional; the app works if you decline.

Children

Lunifest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children.

Your rights

Because your data never reaches us, exercising your rights is direct: view everything in the app, export it as JSON, or delete it all from Settings. Uninstalling the app also removes all app data.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change (for example, adding optional cloud backup), this policy will be updated and the change will be clearly announced in the app before it takes effect.
