What it is

Abraham-Hicks teaches that a thought held for just 17 seconds begins attracting similar thoughts, and at 68 seconds momentum truly takes over. This practice makes that tangible: four timed rounds of 17 seconds each. In every round you hold one pure, positive thought about your desire — no arguing with it, no yes-but. If you slip, no drama; the next round starts fresh. It's the espresso shot of manifestation: tiny, strong, done in under two minutes.

How to practise it

  1. Choose one desire and one purely positive thought about it.
  2. Start round one: hold that thought for 17 unbroken seconds.
  3. Between rounds, breathe once and let the thought refresh.
  4. Repeat for all four rounds — 68 seconds of held focus in total.
  5. Finish by noticing the shift in how the desire feels.

Make it land

  • Prepare your thought before starting; hunting for one mid-round breaks the hold.
  • If a round wobbles, smile, reset, and take the next one fresh.
